100 Things to do Over Spring Break

My kiddos are on Spring Break this week, YAY!  I actually enjoy having my kids home.  I spent the past week coming up with ideas, activities and just plain- AWESOME things to do.

Here is a quick list of 100, our goal is to get through 90! We also have a ton of activities not on this list.

100 Things to Do Over Spring Break

1. Give your kids $10 and go to the dollar store. Let them have all the time they need to shop, don't rush!
2. Go for a walk on local trails.
3. X-box/Wii marathon.
4. Dress up dog pet have a photo shoot.
5. Go to the movies.
6. Make a spring break album and take pic's of everything you do.
7. Create your own motel at home. Have kids pack a suitcase, get in the vehicle and return home to your motel. Transform house by putting number on bedroom doors, have room service, kitchen becomes restaurant....
8. Go swimming.
9. Pitch a tent in the living room.
10. Be a tourist in your own town. 
11. Head to the movies for a matinee.
12. Go to library.
13. Have a spa day.
14. Do a bedroom makeover: move furniture around, add photos, accessorize... (great way to get them to clean their bedrooms without them knowing)
15. Go for ice cream.
16. Boardgame bonanza. (break out the boardgames)
17. Scavenger hunt in home or around town.
18. Backwards dinner with other families. Rotate houses.
19. Go for a bike ride.
20. Movie marathon at home.
21. Pajama day: crazy hair, pillow fight, breakfast in bed....
22. Go to craft store and be creative.
23. Send postcards from to family members who live faraway.
24. Go on an candy hunt.
25. Have a tea party.
26. Build a fort in the living room.
27. Play flashlight tag at night around the house.
28. Thumb war, wrestling or a tickle fight.
29. Learn to juggle.
30. Make a feely box. Guess what's inside.
31. Write a letter/draw a picture and send it to grandparents.
32. Make a movie with video camera, iphone, ipad.
33. Play hide and go seek.

35. Have a yard sale.

38. Take turns saying tongue twisters.

40. Become penpals with a friend in town.
41. Create a spring break journal, and jot down what you did everyday.
